Alternative medicine, is a system of therapy which does not come from the standard orthodox medicine. An alternative physician will use both natural and chemical substances as necessary to help relieve the suffering of a patient.

Homeopathy is a system of medicine developed by Dr. Samuel Harnomin in Germany.

It has been proven over the past 200 years to be extremely useful in resolving many medical conditions. The remedies are nontoxic at the levels given and therefore are safe for any age group.

Dr. Burton is a medical doctor trained in Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania in the United States of America. He graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1981.

Dr. Burton has practiced alternative medicine since 1986.

Dr. Burton is not affiliated with any hospital and does not admit patients to hospitals. He does however maintain a close affiliation with several hospitals that accept his patients for admission to whatever specialty that is required.

Dr. Burton primarily uses homeopathic formulations, herbal medication along with diet programs in the treatment of most health conditions. He will, however, use allopathic/pharmaceuticals if required. 

Unless you are allergic to a particular ingredient in the supplement, you should have absolutely no reaction to any of the substances recommended. If you suspect that there has been an adverse reaction such as an upset stomach or headache, simply discontinue use and give our office a call.

Dr. Burton has used nutritional supplements successfully to treat numerous patients for over 30 years. He has found them to be extremely effective in helping to resolve, and/or minimize symptoms in most cases.

In each case there is a specified time limit given.

Women who are pregnant usually require nutritional supplementation. 

If you have a strong suspicion that a supplement or any other substance you are taking hurts your pregnancy, you should discontinue its use immediately.

The Burton Wellness & Injury Center does not accept any personal insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Payment for medical services can be made via credit or debit cards, cash, or check. The Center does accept verifiable automobile insurance and workmen’s compensation.
